Going Down - RPG Maker

Thank you for looking at my game! Even just you being here makes me happy.

I am very new to this game making thing and this is my first project I have worked on. I know its not great and there are a great many things I can do to improve, but the goal is that this helps me get there.

This project I want to be a slight twist on the basic RPG, instead of leveling you are able to choose how your stats grow, for a price of course. As you go deeper into the dungeon you will find stronger and stronger enemies, more loot, and more money. All of these should help you grow a little stronger for the next fight. Provided you don't die of course. There will be puzzles, levers and boss fights all leading to you being able to explore more and more of the dungeon. 

*For now the game is in very early stages of development, I really just wanted to post something out there to start and work on updating things as I go. The top town is very basic, but has some of the shops I felt were essential. There is only one floor to the dungeon, but you should be able to explore around it for now.*

• an actual town at the top of the dungeon

• more art, better art, updated art

• puzzles and switches for getting to deeper and hidden areas
• some quality of life things i am sure

I am making all my own assets for this game in time, for right now I am using some things from RPG maker and some very basic learning how to draw assets. Please bear with me as I learn and grow. You are always welcome to leave comments as well of what I could focus on to make the game better. (please note that just because you say it should be a certain way does not mean I will be doing it that way.)

I do recommend downloading this game via the itch.io app that way when I update the game the app will be able to patch it for you instead of having to download the whole thing again and starting over. If for any reason you get stuck after a patch please try using the "Surface Teleport" spell to teleport back to town to see if that helps. Once you have the itch.io app installed you can copy and past the games URL in the app and it should bring you right there to download. Or you can add the game to a collection and then find it in your collections tab of the app.
